Leave the house right away. Don't flip switches or use your phone inside. Once you're outside, call your gas company's emergency line or 911.

- Get everyone, pets included, out of the house. Leave the door open behind you.
- Don't turn lights or appliances on or off, light anything, or start a car in an attached garage.
- Don't use your phone until you're well away from the house.
- From outside, call your natural gas company's emergency line or your propane supplier, or call 911.
- Don't go back in until they tell you it's safe.
Once the gas company or fire department has made it safe, call us at (762) 254-4897 if a gas water heater or other appliance needs to be repaired or replaced.
