Manufacturer warranties on water heaters and fixtures

Water heaters, faucets, pumps and softeners carry their own manufacturer warranties on parts. Register them, keep your invoice, and keep up with maintenance so the warranty stays good.

Most of the equipment we install, like water heaters, faucets, toilets, sump pumps and water softeners, comes with a warranty from the company that made it. That's separate from our own guarantee on the work.

Keep your warranty good

  • Register the product with the manufacturer. Many shorten the warranty if it isn't registered.
  • Keep your invoice. It shows the install date and that a licensed plumber put it in.
  • Keep up with maintenance. Some water heater warranties expect regular flushing, and tankless warranties often require descaling on hard water.
